Chris P       Instrument: Guitar, Vocals Years Experience: 2 Many  Influences: Classic Rock & Funk, especially 70’s, Country – old & new. Peter Frampton, Grand Funk, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Brooks & Dunn, Vince Gill.

Musical History: Picked up Dad’s old Silvertone acoustic when I was about 13 and started picking out melodies to the radio. Had to sneak it while he was at work. After he found out I could play, he got me an old Silvertone electric of my own – no more sneakin’. Had a band in high school which was very unusual in those days. Stuck mostly to top 40, until I joined a mostly country band. Took a looooooong break and got back into it in the early 90’s, playing mostly new country and classic R&R.Hobbies: Fishing, anything that involves a ball or puck, biking, hiking / exploring, business, inventing, collecting vinyl albums, and of course playing music.

Personal Philosophy: If you’re not having fun, you’re doing the wrong thing. But since everything can’t be fun, at least enjoy what you’re doing. And since not everything can be enjoyable, at least do it with purpose.Best thing about playing in Easy-Money Band: It is fun - and that fun is radiated to the audience. I love the no-stress attitude, the professional talent each member brings, and the great time everyone has when we play.
